En Colombia, quedaron muchos temas por concluir en este año, especialmente la licitación del tercer canal privado de televisión y la licitación del satélite colombiano dejaron un sabor amargo.
Por otra parte, se vieron importantes tendencias hacia la conectividad móvil, el inicio de un estudio por parte de la Comisión de Regulación de Comunicaciones de los mercados relevantes, un buen crecimiento en materia de conectividad, y buenos programas como lo es Mipyme Digital del Ministerio de TIC que incentivan el uso de éstas en la pequeña y mediana empresa.
Con un gran impulso regulatorio, este año marcó un nuevo rumbo para el sector TIC en Colombia: la ley de habeas data, la nueva Ley TIC, la ley de delitos informáticos, la nueva ley postal y el Conpes de comercio electrónico sin duda generarán nuevas oportunidades de negocio en beneficio de todos durante el 2010.
Oportunidades que se traducen, por ejemplo, en el nuevo administrador del nombre de dominio .co, en la licitación de espectro para internet móvil, y en la licitación de la red pública de transmisión para la televisión digital terrestre.
A nivel mundial, creo que veremos una consolidación de las redes sociales a nivel empresarial: el no estar en Internet es perder un mercado cautivo.
A su vez, entre otras cosas, veremos cómo se desarrolla la regulación antipiratería en Europa donde la "ley de los 3 avisos" empezó a tomar vuelo este año.
Esperemos ver más contenidos digitales, más modelos de negocios y tecnologías que nos descresten. En este sector, siempre hay mas.
